Ten Canadian Casino Resort Profiles for Families
When we travel across Canada with our children, we look for what happens away from the gaming tables. Every property in our guide is evaluated strictly on non-gaming amenities, from indoor rinks and waterslides to show venues and family dining.

How We Examine Each Property
When planning a stay with children, the casino floor is completely off-limits. Provincial regulations set entry ages at 18 in Alberta and Québec, or 19 in Ontario and British Columbia. We look exclusively at the resort amenities outside the gaming floor to see if a property justifies a family trip.
Our reviews examine six practical areas: swimming pools and water features, non-gaming activities, family room layouts, live entertainment venues, food options suitable for children, and resort transparency. You can read full details on our scoring methodology or compare amenities directly on our non-gaming comparison table.
Navigating On-Site Rules for Minors
Access rules for hotel hallways, restaurants, and theatres vary significantly across properties. While some resorts welcome families in every hotel tower and dining room, others restrict specific towers or amenities to adult guests. For clear guidelines on age limits, security checkpoints, and venue access, read our overview of what minors can and cannot do.
